(HBO) – Da Bac district has carried out 14 preferential credit programmes with total outstanding loans of more than 350 billion VND (15 million USD). As many as 9,634 clients were provided with the loans.
The
quality of credit has been improved, and overdue loans account for only 0.06 percent
of the total outstanding loans.
Since the outset of the year, over 80 billion VND worth of loans was provided
for 2,174 customers, according to the transaction office of the Vietnam Bank
for Social Policies’ chapter in Da Bac district. The office has recovered over
50 billion VND in debt, and cleared bad debts worth 60 million VND.
The district is now having 243 savings and lending groups with 9,532 members. Each
commune has an average of 12 groups and 40 members.
In the past years, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies have accompanied local
farmers, helping them enhance incomes and improve livelihoods. The preferential
loans have made significant contributions to carrying out the national target
on sustainable poverty alleviation and ensuring social welfare in the
district./.
According to data from the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee, the industrial production index for the first six months of 2025 is estimated to have increased by 20% compared to the same period last year. This marks the highest year-on-year growth rate for this period since 2020.
In the first six months of 2025, Hoa Binh province’s export turnover was estimated at 1.145 billion USD, marking an 18.11% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Import turnover was estimated at $ 804 million, a 17.15% increase, which helped the province maintain a positive trade balance.

Maintaining growing area codes and packing facility codes in accordance with regulations is a mandatory requirement for agricultural products to be eligible for export. Recently, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hoa Binh province has intensified technical supervision of designated farming areas and packing facilities to safeguard the "green passport" that enables its products to access international markets.
