(HBO) - As many as 105 organisations and individuals in Hoa Binh province had registered to donate and transferred goods to support flood-hit victims in the central region via the provincial Fatherland Front Committee with a total amount of over 3.7 billion VND as of November 19.
Of the total, the registered amount totalled over 2.1 billion VND, while the donations in cash
and bank transfers were over 1.63 billion VND.
A total of 3,000 sets of new clothing were transported to central localities for
distributing to flood victims.
The management board of the provincial Relief Fund promptly provided 700
million VND to support the provinces of Quang Binh, Quang Tri, and Thua Thien -
Hue to overcome consequences of recent floods and landslides.
In addition, a number of local volunteer groups have also promptly supported central
flood victims in various forms such as providing and transporting essential
goods to them.

Recently, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hoa Binh province has intensified technical supervision of designated farming areas and packing facilities to safeguard the "green passport" that enables its products to access international markets.
