(HBO) - The fisheries department of Hoa Binh province in coordination with Mavin Aqua Co., Ltd on August 12 released 35,000 fry of various kinds of fish into Da River, aiming to regenerate, protect and increase fisheries resources in the area.

The release ceremony saw the attendance of
representatives from the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development,
Da Bac district and Hien Luong commune. Among the released fish fry, there were 6,000 catfish, barbinae, and black
carps; and 29,000 sesame, grass carps, carps and drift fish. All the fishes
were healthy with no scratches, malformations, and pathogens.
The fisheries departmentalso organiseda team to monitor areas
where the fish fry were release in Binh Thanh, Thung Nai communes of Cao Phong
district and Vay Nua commune of Da Bac districts toensure that the
released fishes develop healthily with the highest survival rate.
The team will alert local people not to catch fishes for at least five days, and
look out to prevent the use of destructive fishing methods, contributing to
protecting the environment and biodiversity, and conserving, and regenerating
fisheries resources in Da River./.

The honourees are all deeply imbued with the local cultural identity and boast considerable commercial potential, helping popularise the image of Hoa Binh to domestic and international consumers. This is also a solid stepping stone for rural industrial establishments to develop.
In the first 10 months of 2024, Hoa Binh city made significant progress in job creation and labour exports, sending 112 workers abroad through partnerships with authorised recruitment firms.
An award ceremony to announce the official certification for Mai Chau district’s Bangana lemassoni fish, a specialty of the locality because of its unique flavour, was held recently in the district.
