(HBO) – Trade promotion activities and support for businesses and cooperatives in Hoa Binh province to expand markets and set up partnerships have been strengthened with various forms, thus helping them popularise and promote their products, and enhance production.


 

The 3T Cao Phong agricultural cooperative’s orange products have become popular in many provinces and cities nationwide.

Production and business organisations, and individuals in Hoa Binh have been encouraged to participate in supply – demand connection conferences, and domestic trade fairs and exhibitions.

The provincial Department of Industry and Trade has worked with those of Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh and Son La to support trade promotion activities and the popularisation of local products of strength.

Thanks to these efforts, many products of the province have become popular in many localities nationwide.

Some typical products such as Cao Phong orange, Tan Lac pomelo, Da river fish, Lac Son and Lac Thuy chicken, and Luong Son safe vegetable have been sold at supermarkets, shopping centres, and convenient stores.

Relevant departments and localities have also supported businesses and cooperatives in renovating technology and equipment serving production, and expanding production.

Local businesses and cooperatives have been urged to build brands for their products, and diversify products with competitive advantage, thus increasing the value and competitiveness for products, and gradually accessing new and potential markets.

In recent years, provincial authorities have approved the deployment of nearly 60 production and sale chains to ensure food safety; implemented domestic demand stimulation and market expansion programmes via e-commerce activities; and developed sale outlets to popularise and sell OCOP products, specialties, potential goods, and typical rural industrial products of the locality.

A series of measures have been taken in order to ensure the supply- demand balance and prevent supply disruptions and price hikes, and speculation, especially for essential commodities.

The provincial People’s Committee has also focused on directing departments, sectors and localities to strengthen trade promotion and market management, towards promoting domestic and export trade, and maintaining and improving the efficiency of trade connection activities.

Attention has been also paid to keeping a close watch on the supply and demand of goods and services, the production and business of enterprises and cooperatives for essential products, thus ensuring enough goods to meet the demand./.
