(HBO) -The Office of the Hoa Binh provincial People's Committee has just issued Notice No.3402/TB-VPUBND on the conclusion of the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee at the meeting of the provincial steering committee for improving the investment and business environment and provincial competitiveness index (PCI).

Regarding the Transparency Sub-index, the chairman of the provincial People's Committee asked the Centre for Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion to complete the development of a database and a digital map on investment promotions. The centre was requested to coordinate with the provincial Business Association and relevant agencies and units to organise the publication of the Digital Map on Investment Promotion, investment promotion planning, and relevant documents in May 2023.

The provincial Department of Information and Communications, other departments, agencies, and People's Committees of districts and Hoa Binh city were asked to actively upgrade their websites for businesses and investors to access information on planning, plans, and legal documents related to investment promotion activities easily.

The Office of the provincial People's Committee, departments, agencies, and People's Committees of districts and Hoa Binh city were requested to actively coordinate with the provincial Radio and Television Station, the Hoa Binh Newspaper, the Centre for Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion, and the provincial Business Association to provide documents related to investment promotion planning and activities for businesses and investors.

Regarding the Sub-index of Legal Institutions and Information Security, the provincial Radio and Television Station and the Hoa Binh Newspaper were asked to study and develop programmes to provide people and businesses with mainstream information. 

 

The provincial Department of Public Security, provincial People's Court, Department of Justice, and People's Committees of districts and Hoa Binh city were told to step up solutions to increase scores and rankings in 2023 and the following years.

Regarding the Market Entry Sub-index, the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee directed the directors of departments, heads of agencies and sectors, and People's Committees of districts and Hoa Binh city to review and re-evaluate staff at administrative sections, and one-stop shops.

Departments and sectors were asked to complete the review and evaluation of the number of dossiersrelating to conditional business license granting in 2022 by June 15. The Department of Planning and Investment will then study and implement solutions to improve component indicators relating to enterprise establishment registration and those indicators that were not evaluated positively in 2022.

Regarding the Informal Charge Sub-index, the chairman of the provincial People's Committee assigned the provincial Inspectorate to review and correct the inspection and examination work relating to businesses. 

 

The directors of departments, heads of agencies and sectors, and chairpersons of People's Committees of districts and Hoa Binh city were asked to remind their cadres, civil servants, and public employees about public service quality and attitude toward public service users. Those with improper attitudes that cause trouble to enterprises and investors, affecting the investment and business environment of the province will be strictly punished./.
