(HBO) - On October 12, in London, UK, Mr. Bui Van Khanh, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the provincial working delegation worked with Asia House. This is an independent organization that advises governments, public academia and private organizations to promote political, economic and trade engagement between Europe and Asia.
Mr. Charlie Humphreys, the Director of Corporate Relations; Mr. Zhou Than Mao, the Head of Research and Consulting Department; Ms. Joanna Octavia, the Head of Programming and Asian House staff welcomed the delegation.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the leaders from the departments and the appropriate authorities exchanged and provided the information about the potential and strengths of Hoa Binh province and the need to attract investment, export goods, culture and health, education... with Asia House.
The two sides discussed the specific measures and cooperation plans between Hoa Binh province and Asia House in promoting the organization of investment and trade promotion activities, promoting tourism, providing information, connecting businesses of the two countries in the areas in which both sides have strengths. The two sides have agreed to coordinate together to develop, propose ideas, initiatives and seek cooperation opportunities in the future.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Charlie Humphreys recorded the information and documents on the investment and business environment of Hoa Binh province provided to research and establish a database system to introduce to partners. of Asian House.

In the afternoon on that day, the working delegation continued working with the Strategy, Finance and Technology Consulting Company (PwC) and the UK-Asean Business Council (UKABC). Mr. Hoang Le Hang, First Secretary for Trade of the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK also attended the meeting.
The representatives of PwC and UBABC working with the working delegation of Hoa Binh province delegation, there was Mr. Charles Bowman, the member of the Advisory Board of PwC, the Commissioner of London City and former Mayor of London; Mr. Ken Wells, UKABC Director of Corporate Affairs and Partnerships; Mr. Glenn Collins, the Head of Policy, Technical and Strategic Engagement of ACCA; Mr. Julian Brockman, the Deputy Head of Branch Banking Department in the Southern Region, HSBC Bank, and the staff of PwC.
At the meeting, Hoa Binh province asked PwC and UKABC to pay attention and support to help the province further promote investment and development cooperation relationships in many fields with the partners in the UK and other countries and the partners within the scope of operations of PwC and UKABC. Thereby, it has actively been contributing to promoting the good and friendly relationship between the two countries, Vietnam – UK, in the coming time and they hope to look forward to sharing information that both sides are interested in and the proposals for the cooperation content need having a pre-prepared plan to best meet the other side's requests within the legal framework and the local practical conditions. The contents of the meeting will be an important premise and basis for the two sides to continue implementing cooperative activities in the coming time.

Mr. Charles Bowman personally wants to pay a víit to Hoa Binh for research as soon as possible. At the end of the meeting, PwC and UKABC found it possible to cooperate with Hoa Binh province in a number of areas of trade and investment, along with that the economic development must be associated with the environmental protection and it was neccesary to have responsibility to the social community.

Although the working time is not much, the information that the two sides have provided, exchanged, shared, and agreed upon is hopefully leading to the comprehensive cooperation and development in the coming time, which is extremely important to actively contributing to promoting the good friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and the United Kingdom in general and promoting the development of Hoa Binh province with PwC and UKABC in particular. Hopefully, in the near future PwC and UKABC will become one of the strategic, reliable and important partners for Hoa Binh province.
