Chairing the dialogue with enterprises, investors and cooperatives in the locality, Toan acknowledged the business community’s positive contributions to the province’s development over the past years. He expressed his hope that more meetings and dialogues will be held to help the local administration grasp information and remove roadblocks for the firms for mutual development.

Representatives of enterprises spoke highly of the provincial People’s Committee and competent departments and sectors’ efforts in handling their bottlenecks, proposing several issues that need to be tackled, including site clearance and land and construction procedures.

They suggested the province take incentives for the tourism sector, and support cooperatives with the processing of agricultural products, evaluation and classification of OCOP goods, and cost of the granting of planting area codes.

Toan asked the enterprises to continue accompanying the province in carrying out projects at an early date so as to accelerate the disbursement of public investment, and ordered leaders of departments and sectors to join hands with the businesses to handle their difficulties.

At the event, the Centre for Trade, Investment and Tourism Promotion launched a digital database on investment promotion at https://xuctiendautu.hoabinh.gov.vn, providing information on the province’s investment climate, mechanisms and policies to lure investment, master plans, and socio-economic development strategies and targets, among others.
