Hoa Binh city has allocated 654 million VND (nearly 26.200 USD) for supporting the protection and sustainable development of 507ha of natural forest to carry out Project 3 on sustainably developing agricultural and forestry production to tap into the potential and advantages of regions to produce goods in value chains.

The move aims to help with reducing greenhouse gas emissions, protecting the environment, preventing and controlling natural disasters, and fighting climate change.

In addition, the city earmarked 736 million VND for the maintenance of five roads and irrigation canals. It also spent more than 3.8 billion VND on assisting local households to develop production in value chains and models.
