Promoting the application of digital technology in new-style rural area building is an important criterion, contributing to the development of agricultural and rural economy, improving people's lives, and gradually narrowing the gap in service quality between rural and urban areas.

Many OCOP (one commune one product) products sold on Hoa Binh e-commerce platform.

Currently, in the province, 114 out of the 129 communes have cooperatives applying digital technology, reaching 88.4%. They have used digital technology in product management and traceability. The commune's key products are traded on e-commerce platforms and social networks such as Zalo, Facebook, and Postmart.

The development of the digital economy has gradually changed the awareness and traditional ways of people and households about product sale in the digital space, and e-commerce platforms, thus contributing to expanding the market from being limited in the locality, the district, the province to other provinces and nationwide.
