The Hoa Binh Power Corporation (PC Hoa Binh) has capitalised on telecommunications and IT infrastructure to promote digital transformation, scoring significant results over the past time.
The company has accelerated the application of IT in power management and operation.
According to PC Hoa Binh Director Nguyen Phuc Thinh, the enterprise has successfully applied advanced technology solutions in administrative reform, the simplification of business and customer service procedures, as well as the management and operation of the power grid.
It has made regular renovation to its telecommunications, IT and automation infrastructure while paying due attention to human resources training and upgrading software to meet requirements of various sectors.
To date, the firm has completed the digitalisation of business and customer service, technical management and internal control data, and put into place various cashless payment methods for electricity bills, thus bringing convenience to its customers.
Additionally, new technologies such as Distribution Management System (DMS) and Material Data Management Consortium (MDMC) have been used, helping PC Hoa Binh better its power grid operation.
Director of the corporation Nguyen Phuc Thinh said that the PC Hoa Binh has prioritised developing IT system, improving its automation capacity, and accelerating the application of softwares to ensure safe and stable power distribution as well as enhance the quality of custom service and efficiency of management work.
The provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development on November 20 coordinated with Hai Dang Group Hoa Binh Seafood Company Limited to release 1.5 tonnes of fries into Hoa Binh Lake to regenerate aquatic resources, with a total value of 266 million VND (10,460 USD).
