(HBO) – The Vietnam wild orchid preservation association in collaboration with Hoa Binh province’s orchid association and Luong Son orchid club recently presented 30 bikes and ten scholarships to impoverished students with excellent academic achievements of Hop Hoa Primary and Junior High Schools in Luong Son district. On the occasion, Hanoi orchid friends association also presented 11 scholarships, and 98 schoolbags to students of the schools with a total value of nearly 55 million VND.

The Vietnam wild orchid preservation association was set up in September, 2015. It membership has increased to over 77,000 across the nation. Besides sharing experience in planting various kinds of flowers, especially wild orchid, the association has auctioned off orchids to collect money for disadvantaged students.

With the motto "Accompanying disadvantaged children”, the association has splashed out billions of VND giving gifts to students in 60 schools nationwide.
