The leaders of Yen Thuy district gave certificates of merit to collectives and individuals who had outstanding achievements in study encouragement mission.

The Study Encouragement Association of Yen Thuy district was established on October 26, 2004 according to the Decision No. 619 / QD-UB of Yen Thuy District People's Committee. The whole district has 155 branches in 155 villages, residential areas and 113 Study Encouragement Boards; more than 180 families  or clans with 17,266 members, accounting for over 24% of the population. Currently the whole district has 5,195 out of 17,316 families have been recognized as "Learning Family", 27 out of 110 clans have been recognized as "Learning Clan", 47 out of 158 villages are recognized as "Learning Community" at village level, 19 out of 65 local units managed by the commune are recognized as "Learning Unit"; 6 out of 13 communes, wards and towns reach up to 11 to 15 criteria for "Learning Community" at commune level.

In the last 15 years, excluding the Family Study Encouragement Fund, the Study Encouragement Associations at all levels has mobilized billions of VND. In particularly in 2017, the Association had 1,844,408,000 VND and awarded 590 scholarships, 4,357 awards. In 2018, in only September, while implementing "Hoa Binh Promotion Month", it mobilized from social forces to get 2,349 supporters, scholarships, gifts with the amount of 715 million VND.

The task of study encouragement has always been taken care and developed by the government and being always supported by families, clans and community, making great contribution in building a learning society.

On this occasion, Study Encouragement Association of Yen Thuy District also awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals who have excellent achievements in study encouragement mission.
