Mr. Vo Ngoc Kien, the Secretary of the Party
Committee of Cao Phong District, presented gold certificates to individuals and
collectives with excellent achievements in the study encouragement mission in
the past 10 years.
Over the past 10 years, the district has
built 100% of communes, towns, 100% of villages, residential areas having study
encouragement associations and basic education branches. More than 80 schools,
clans, agencies and units, of which 100% of schools have Study Encouragement
Boards operating regularly and effectively. Up to now, the District Study
Encouragement Association has 11,000 members, accounting for 25.8% of the
population. The establishment of study encouragement organizations from
district to grassroots has spread the movement of study promotion, talent
promotion, building learning society in the district. By 2017, 2,883 families
have reached the standard of "learning family", 32 "learning
clans" and 37 "learning units" managed by the commune, 12
learning units managed by the district. This number exceeds the target set by
the provincial association. From the study encouragement fund and the funding
sources, the study encouragement associations, the agencies, units and mass
organizations of the district have made good supportive movement to support pupils
overcoming difficulties, good pupils, pupils overcoming disabilities, the study
encouragement associations at all levels have awarded 1,282 scholarships, 4,683
gifts with the total cost of 3.5 billion VND. The study encouragement
associations also effectively implemented the movements of "Learning
Drum", "Strengthening the quality of the activities of community
learning centers", and "Lifelong learning", etc.
On this occasion, the State Study
Encouragement Association of Vietnam donated medals to 10 individuals with
excellent achievements in study promotion, gold certificates to 2 collectives
and 7 individuals. Cao Phong District People's Committee presented certificates
of merit to 12 collectives and 37 individuals who have outstanding achievements
in study encouragement mission of the district. The District Study
Encouragement Association awarded certificates of merit to 13 excellent
learning communities, 5 typical learning clans, 23 typical learning families, 5
staff and workers achieving Master degrees, 31 good provincial teachers and 260
pupils achieved excellent results in the academic year of 2017-2018 and passed
the university entrance exams.
