(HBĐT) - In recent years, Da Bac District Health Center has spared no efforts to overcome difficulties and implement solutions to improve its personnel’s professional skills, and increase investment in better medical equipment and infrastructure.

Da Bac District Health Center has invested in an automatic biochemical test machine, contributing to quality improvement of its medical examination and treatment.

In addition to building a green and hygiene environment, leaders of the centre requested all employees to be welcoming and helpful towards patients. Dinh Quoc Ky from the centre’s Office of Planning and Operations said: "In the coming time, we will put into operation a child playground to help entertain young patients during their treatment and ease their  pain”.

Aiming to increase patients’ satisfaction, along with boosting the capacity of its human resources, the center pays attention to investment in modern machines and equipment, overhauls its examination and treatment process, and strictly follows professional safety regulations in treatment and emergency cases.

Last year, it provided check-ups for nearly 20,000 people and performed surgeries on 11,000 patients. A 2018 survey by the Hoa Binh Department of Health among customers at the center showed that 88 percent were satisfied. Meanwhile, 91 percent said they were satisfied with the center’s information transparency and medical examination and treatment procedures, and 95 percent were pleased with its personnel’s attitude and competency.

To boost its operation in 2019, the center has invested in a biochemical screening machine for cancer detection, a respiratory function measuring machine, and a machine to diagnose osteoporosis, among others. It has also sent doctors and technicians to provincial and national hospitals for further training./.
