Ms. Ha Thi Van, the Principal of the preschool says: After many efforts, we hava achieved the remarkable results. By the school year of 2014 - 2015, the school was recognized to meet the national standards at level 1. By the school year of 2021 - 2022, the school was re-accredited to meet the national standard at level 1 for the period of 2022 - 2027, and the school has met the standards of the Education Quality Accreditation at Level 2 at the same time. Currently, the school has enough classrooms, function rooms, the standard spacious kitchen, the spacious playgrounds, sports halls and modern utensils and equipment. 100% of the classroom has enough equipment, utensils and minimum toys for the child care, nurturing and education activities. 2 out of the 2 areas have enough outdoor toys for the children to play. 100% of children going to school are guaranteed to be physically and mentally safe. The preschool children aged from 4 to 5 are introduced to the Scratrunie software on smartphones. 90% or more children are bold and confident in the activities. Every year, 100% of 5-year-old children complete the preschool program... On the new development journey, the school is trying to maintain and improve the quality of the standards of the National Standard School at Level 1, aiming to build National Standard School at level 2. In the immediate future, in the school year of 2022 - 2023, the school is determined to effectively implement the theme of the school year: Building a green - safe - friendly preschool, and continue improving the quality of child care and education at the same time.
On the whole district, there are 13 out of the 23 preschools that have reached the national standards in Mai Chau. The whole sector has 46 schools (23 preschools, 1 elementary school, 1 junior high school, 17 middle and high schools, 1 junior high school, 3 high & junior boarding schools for the ethnic minorities). By August 2022, there are 24 schools meeting the national standards (13 preschools, 1 primary school, 1 junior high school, 9 high schools and lower secondary schools), reaching the rate of 52.2%. In general, the construction of schools meeting the national standards has basically completed the set plan. Along with this result, the educational development journey of the district has recorded the positive changes, showing the continuous efforts to strengthen and improve the quality.
As noted by the Sub-department of Education and Training of Mai Chau district, in the context of many difficulties, the district's education and training sector has made efforts to implement the solutions to create the positive changes in quality. In which, the sector has advised to review and re-plan the school network in accordance with the actual conditions; focusing on improving the quality of preschool and general education; maintaining and improving the quality of mass education through each school year; strengthening the physical education for students as well as educating the morality, lifestyle, life skills, ensuring the school safety... It is necessary to try to well implement the emulation movements: "Building friendly schools, active students”; emulating "Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning”... to rise up and keep up with the general development of education in the province.
In particular, in an effort to create the changes to improve the quality of education, the units and schools in the district are promoting the application of information technology, implementing the digital transformation in teaching, learning and educational management. Closely following the guidelines and the general plans of the sector, 100% of units and schools have connected to the internet and fully exploited the electronic document system in educational activities so far. 100% of the schools have updated the information and data of the schools, the teachers and the students on the national database system on education and training. 100% of the schools have registered to use the digital signatures and e-invoices to transact with the district’s State Treasury, they have also used the specialized software to support the implementation of the education quality accreditation, the graduation reviewa for the secondary education, administering exams for excellent students and enrolling students at lower secondary level; continuing to overcome difficulties in order to carry out the roadmap for the extra-curricular teaching of informatics, applications and computer science programs; promoting the implementation of the digital transformation platforms for online teaching, learning and testing...
