(HBO) – In the high school graduation exam in 2023, there are 9,690 candidates registered for the exam in the whole province. The Department of Education and Training has decided to establish 37 test sites and 442 exam rooms. Up to this point, the test sites and related forces have basically completed a large amount of work with a high sense of responsibility. All the stages in the preparation are being reviewed to be ready for well organizing the exam in the province.


Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the delegation of the Steering Committee of the High School Graduation Examination in 2023 in the province are inspecting the facilities at the exam site of Yen Thuy C High School (Yen Thuy district).

At the exam site of Yen Thuy C High School, Yen Thuy district, the Principal Bui Hoang Long says: The preparation work has basically completed. The school has received and fully implemented the documents of the superiors related to the exam. In which, we have focused on thoroughly grasping and guiding the exam regulations for the officials, the teachers and the students; preparing the personnel to participate in all of the stages of the exam; establishing the school's graduation exam records committee to carry out the preparation work for the exam. As for the preparation of the physical facilities, equipment and facilities for the exam, the school has fully arranged, including the examination rooms, the waiting rooms, the rooms for storing exam questions and papers, rooms for storing the electronic devices that are not allowed to use, the place to store the items which is prohibited from being brought into the exam room, the stationery, the publications serving the exam... In particular, the test site has arranged an explosive machine in case of the power failure, actively developing the contingency plans to respond to the unusual situations caused by epidemics and extreme weather. It is expected that the school will coordinate with the Volunteer Shock Team of the Youth Union and the Communal Public Security with the contestants to be ready to help in case of need.

In Yen Thuy district, there are 3 test sites located at Yen Thuy A, Yen Thuy B, Yen Thuy C high school. With 680 candidates registered, 31 exam rooms will be arranged. Noting that up to this point, all the 3 test points have been quite fully prepared in terms of the equipment and facilities for the exam; at the same time, they have actively developed the contingency scenarios when unusual situations occur (with a plan to transport the candidates in remote, extremely difficult areas).
In Hoa Binh City - the area with the highest number of candidates registered for the exam compared to that of the districts in the province, the preparation for the organization has completed with a large volume and remarkable efficiency. In the city, there are 7 test sites, 101 exam rooms, over 2,200 candidates registered for the exam. In the process of preparing and organizing, the test sites have received the synchronous coordination from the departments, agencies, mass organizations and local authorities. The work of introducing, arranging and arranging personnel to participate in the stages of the exam has been done in accordance with the content of the guiding documents. In particular, the test sites have developed and been ready to deploy the plans to mobilize the resources and funds to promptly respond to any adverse situations that occur, for example: the students and the officials on duty are sudden ill or have accident; fire and explosion; strong thunderstorms, heavy storms, local flooding in the exam area…

This year, in the whole province, there are 59 schools with students registered to take the high school graduation exam (including 36 high schools; 10 centers of vocational education and training; 1 center of continuing education; 11 high & junior boarding schools for ethnic minorities; 1 joint high school). Of the 9,690 candidates registered for the exam, there are 8,558 students studying the program for high school education, 1,132 students studying the continuing education program. The Department of Education and Training has decided to establish 37 test sites and arranged 442 exam rooms. The total number of the personnel participating in the organization of the exam is expected to be about 3,400 people, in which, the official examination force is about 2,150 people, the youth volunteer force to support the exam is about 740 people...

"Associating with the task of organizing the exam well is a large amount of work, requiring the synchronous, active and effective participation of many forces” – emphasizes Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head The Steering Committee for the High School Graduation Exam 2023 in the province. through checking the actual situation at the test sites, he noted the high sense of responsibility and synchronous efforts of the units, schools and forces. As a result, the test sites have basically fulfilled all the conditions, ensuring that the exam is held on schedule, safely and according to regulations.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee notes: The exam is held in the middle of the rainy season, so there is a risk of extreme weather phenomena, such as rain, floods, landslides, traffic disruption... ,which affects the transportation and handing over of exam papers and exam questions; the candidate's travel during the exam days; the movement to the test sites of the test officials or threatening the safety of the test sites. Therefore, it is suggested that the relevant agencies should actively coordinate with the test sites to review contingency plans, preparing to respond to all of the situations, definitely not letting any candidates have to drop the exam because of difficulties and obstacles.
