Following President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings that emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation, the trade union at all levels in Hoa Binh has effectively implemented patriotism emulation movements, especially the "effective, creative working” movement. Responding to the movement, local workers, public servants, and officials have proposed many creative and applicable ideas, helping spread the movement to all agencies, units, and businesses.

One of the 59 individuals honoured for outstanding performance in the "effective, creative working” emulation movement in the 2019-2024 period, Bui Dai Nghia, President of the Trade Union of FGLVN Co. Ltd., in Tan Lac district, has been an energetic, enthusiastic, and responsible worker.

In the 2019 - 2023 period, Nghia proposed two initiatives - "reducing human effort, increasing efficiency" and "applying jigs to replace manual sewing", which have contributed to increasing productivity and reducing labour costs, and benefited the enterprise.

As a trade union leader, he has shown high sense of responsibility in protecting the legitimate rights and interest of union members and labourers. He has received many awards from the local administration and sectors.

Nghia said that only when the company secures sustainable growth, the income of labourers will be improved. With this spirit, he has worked hard to contribute his efforts and brainpower to the company to promote production and business efficiency.

After being applied to the production process, the initiatives have contributed to improving the production process, increasing productivity and product quality. Thanks to that, the reputation of the enterprise has been enhanced, making it a reliable choice of customers, he said.

Currently, Hoa Binh has nearly 78,000 workers and public servants, with 66,800 trade union members. The "effective, creative working” emulation movement launched by the provincial Federation of Labour has received active response by trade unions at all levels and workers and public servants. Many creative ideas have been proposed and applied so as to actively improve the production process and increase productivity and work efficiency.

The movement has received nearly 3,300 ideas, while 35 union members have been honoured by the provincial People's Committee for outstanding scientific and technological initiatives in 2024.

So far, living conditions, employment, and income of union members and local labourers have remained stable, while the working relations at local firms with trade unions have been maintained in line with the law.

Nguyen Manh Cuong, President of the Hoa Binh Federation of Labour, said that the "effective, creative working” emulation movement has inspired the potential and intelligence of union members and workers. Through the movement, many outstanding examples of effective and creative workers have emerged. Scientific research projects, initiatives, technical innovation solutions, and technological processes have been widely applied and disseminated in practice, helping to improve the efficiency of management and administration, administrative reform, application of information technology, and digital transformation, thus improving the efficiency of agencies and units, increasing labour productivity, product and goods quality, improving the working environment, ensuring stable employment, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development, and building a strong trade union organisation.
