(HBO) - In the 2016-2020 period, the tourism sector of Tan Lac district has been growing by 32%. In which, the turns of visitors have reached 16.6%, the increase in income has reached 37.2%, the increase in labor has reached 42.3%. In 9 months of 2020, the revenue from tourism in the district has been estimated at 15.6 billion dongs. These figures show that the district has gradually been promoting its potentials and advantages in tourism development.

The people in Van Son commune (Tan Lac) have been investing in facilities for developing the community tourism.

In the district, there are 19 historical and cultural relics and landscapes that have been protected and exploited. In which, 6 relics have been ranked as the national level, 3 relics have been ranked as the provincial level, 9 points are included in the inventory list by the Provincial People's Committee, 1 stop at White Stone Crab Pass. From here, three main tourism spaces have been formed. They are the northern space, including Phu Cuong, Suoi Hoa and Phu Vinh communes, the southern space with Phong Phu, Van Son and Ngo Luong communes and the central space with Man Duc town and the neighboring communes such as Tu Ne and Thanh Hoi. At the same time, the district has also clearly identified the potential areas to promote tourism development of the district. They include Ngoi Hoa Bay (Suoi Hoa commune), Trong lake area, Kem hamlet (Phong Phu commune), Trang Ta hamlet (My Nhan commune), Da hamlet (Lo Son commune) and the upland communes of the district.

In order to promote the available potentials and advantages, the district has actively taken the advantage of the investment resources for tourism development in recent years. Mr. Dinh Son Tung, the Head of the District’s Department of Culture and Information, says: The district has always been creating the favorable conditions to support the potential investors to survey and research the advantages for tourism development. The district has also regularly been taking the attention and the support of the functional sectors to formulate the projects to call for investment in tourism spots in the area. Annually, the district integrates the national target programs and other capital sources, accelerating the progress of the projects investing in transport infrastructure, electricity and water. 

Currently, the district has completed the renovation, expansion and upgrading of the ring road of Man Duc town, the inter-commune roads, and the rural roads have been concreted. Up to now, the province has attracted 10 projects invested in the tourism sector. In which, 5 projects have been approved by the Provincial People's Committee with the total capital was over 1,829 billion VND and 5 projects are in the process of appraisal, consultation and approval for the investment policy.

On the basis of the available potentials and advantages, the trade and service sectors initially have a fairly comprehensive development, meeting the requirements of serving tourism. The infrastructure system is increasingly expanding, the different types of services such as hotels, restaurants, high-quality food and beverage services have been gradually formed, concentrating in the central area of Man Duc town and the center of the communes. The ecotourism, the community tourism and the cultural and spiritual tourism associated with festivals have had a lot of prosperity. The restoration of the traditional festivals, maintaining the traditional crafts, preserving, conserving and promoting the cultural identities of the ethnic groups, has initially created the unique products with the characteristic of Tan Lac for tourism service.
