(HBO) -Lien Hoa is one of the three communes to finish the new rural destination in 2018 of Lac Thuy district.


The central area of ​​Lien Hoa commune (Lac Thuy) is embellished and expanded according to the green, clean and beautiful criteria.

In the past 8 years, Lien Hoa commune has mobilized over 123 billion VND to build the new rural area, in which the people in the commune have contributed more than 15 billion VND, including the donation of land, assets and labor days to build the rural infrastructure.

Up to now, 100% of roads from the commune center to the roads in the district have been asphalted and concreted. The whole commune has hardened 4 km of village roads, more than 8 km of village lanes and nearly 9 km of the main inland roads. The irrigation system has basically met the production and community needs. More than 94% of the people have already had stable jobs. The commune has a central cultural house with an area of ​​2,500 square meter and a sports area with​​12,000 square meter to serve the needs of culture, fitness - sports and other commune’s events. All of the four villages have cultural houses. The sports area has been upgraded and fully equipped. More than 94% of people have bought the health insurance. 100% of households have used clean water. Village roads and lanes are green, clean and beautiful. The political security, social order and safety have maintained.

Mr. Bui Van Tuong, the chairman of Lien Vu People's Committee says that together with the investment in building infrastructure, the commune has been promoting the economic development, planning the areas of goods production and applying the scientific and technological advances to production and forestry development. The production development models such as citrus tree planting, breeding in the form of farms, breeding specialties and growing safe vegetables are invested with high economic efficiency. At the same time, other industries such as exploiting the construction materials, producing concrete bricks, wood processing and so on have also been developed. As a result, the people's lives are increasingly improved. By the end of 2018, the average income per capita of the commune reached 32.5 million VND, which was nearly 4 times higher compared to that of 2011. The rate of the poverty household was 6.64%, which was nearly 5 times less compared to that of 2011.
