Hoa Binh City crossbow shooting, tug of war, and stick pushing tournament

At the Hoa Binh provincial sports arena, the Organizing Committee of the 8th Hoa Binh City Sports Festival 2025 held youth and championship crossbow shooting, tug of war, and stick pushing tournaments.

The Organizing Committee awarded medals to outstanding athletes.

The tournament gathered over 400 athletes from communes and wards of Hoa Binh City. Competitors showcased their skills in three traditional sports,with crossbow shooting featuring 4 competition categories, tug of war featuring 3 competition categories, and stick pushing featuring 18 competition categories.

After two exciting days of competition, the tournament attracted a lot of spectators. At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals to individuals and teams with outstanding performances in each category.

This annual sporting event is a tradition in Hoa Binh City, providing a healthy and engaging playground for people. It helps promote community sports while honoring, preserving, and developing traditional sports.

Organised by the provincial Centre for Youth Activities, the event was part of activities to celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – 2025) and the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 – 2025).
