On the afternoon of June 21, at Hoa Binh Stadium, Hoa Binh Football Club (Hoa Binh FC) played their final home match of the 2024 - 2025 National First Division Football League – Bia Sao Vang season, hosting Ba Ria-Vung Tau FC. Backed by the passionate support of a large home crowd, the team played with great determination and secured a convincing 2-0 win.

From the opening whistle, Hoa Binh FC pushed their formation high and adopted an aggressive attacking strategy, applying continuous pressure through quick, coordinated plays. Their efforts paid off in the 13th minute when, following a rapid attack down the left flank, Le Van Quy delivered a precise cross for Tran Gia Huy, who rose above the defense to score with a difficult header, sending the crowd into celebration.

The home side maintained its momentum and continued to dominate possession with fluid, fast-paced combinations. In the 38th minute, once again from the left wing, Le Van Quy demonstrated his playmaking prowess by delivering a dangerous low cross, allowing Nguyen Van Tung to tap in a close-range finish and double the lead to 2-0.

In the second half, Hoa Binh FC played with composure and discipline, effectively controlling the tempo and preserving their lead. Ba Ria-Vung Tau FC pushed forward in search of a goal but were unable to break through the home team’s well-organized defense.

At the final whistle, the "Pride of the Northwest” sealed a 2-0 victory, collecting the full three points and closing out their season on a high note. With this result, coach Le Quoc Vuong and his squad officially finished in 7th place in the 2024 - 2025 league standings. Ba Ria-Vung Tau FC concluded their campaign in 10th place.

Following the match, the Hoa Binh Provincial Football Federation awarded Hoa Binh FC a performance bonus of 100 million VND in recognition of their strong finish.
