In 2 days, March 1-2, 2025, at the Provincial Gymnasium, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism organized the 2025 Provincial Youth Championship of Crossbow Shooting, Tug-of-War, and Stich Pushing. This annual event is hosted by the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.


The Organizing Committee awarded medals to the outstanding athletes at the 2025 Provincial Youth Championship of Crossbow Shooting, Tug-of-War, and Stich Pushing in Hoa Binh.

More than 300 athletes from 10 districts, the city, and the Provincial Public Security participated in the competition, which featured 30 events across three disciplines: crossbow shooting, tug-of-war, and stick pushing. Specifically, there were 18 event for; 8 events for crossbow shooting; and 4 events for tug-of-war.

After 183 stick-pushing matches, 15 tug-of-war matches, and 51 crossbow shooting rounds, at the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded medals and prizes to the athletes and teams with the outstanding achievements.

The specific results (only first place winners listed): For crossbow shooting, the individual events: Men's Standing Position: Bui Chi Thiet (Luong Son); Women's Standing Position: Bui Thi Hien (Cao Phong); Men's Kneeling Position: Bui Van Khanh (Kim Boi); Women's Kneeling Position: Bui Thi Hien (Cao Phong). The team events: Men's Standing Position: Luong Son District; Men's Kneeling Position: Hoa Binh City; Women's Standing Position: Kim Boi District; Women's Kneeling Position: Kim Boi District.

For stick pushing: men’s youth (weight categories), Up to 50kg: Quach Tung Lam (Lac Son); 50-55kg: Tran Duc Duy (Hoa Binh City); 55-60kg: Bui Van Thien (Lac Son); 60-65kg: Nguyen Thanh Long (Hoa Binh City). For women’s youth (weight categories): Up to 40kg: Phung Thi Thuy Dung (Hoa Binh City); 40-45kg: Nguyen Ha Vi (Luong Son); 45-50kg: Bui Thi Thu (Lac Son); 50-55kg: Quach Thi Ha Chi (Luong Son). For men’s championship (weight categories): Up to 55kg: Bui Quang Doi (Cao Phong); 55-60kg: Bui Van Nam (Lac Son); 60-65kg: Nguyen Hoang Huy (Luong Son); 65-70kg: Bui Trung Kien (Lac Son); 70-75kg: Dinh Van Bay (Tan Lac). For women’s championship (weight categories): Up to 48kg: Bui Nhu Quynh (Lac Son); 48-52kg: Xa Thi Ha Vi (Da Bac); 52-57kg: Bui Thi Thom (Lac Son); 57-63kg: Trieu Phuong Uyen (Hoa Binh City); 63-69kg: Duong Thi Dao (Luong Son).

Tug-of-War: For youth men’s and women’s team event: Lac Son District. For men’s and women’s championship team events: Tan Lac District.
