(HBO) - In the days of New Year occasion, from the city to the countryside, the sound of volleyball is being heard from the volleyball course everywhere. It is not too much to be said that volleyball makes the New Year occasion happier and healthier.

Mr. Bui Van Tu, in Ren village, Gia Mo commune (Tan Lac) is a passionate volleyball lover. Although he is not a player selected in the team of the village, but every evening, Tu and the youth in the village hold a volleyball tournament.

For a long time, volleyball has become a popular sport that the local people in all the countryside area enjoy. In Ngoc Lau commune (Lac Son), although it has been known since the beginning of 2011, but up to now, every village has a playground and has set up a volleyball team. According to Bui Van Mung, a commune cultural officer, Ngoc Lau organizes a tournament every year for all the village teams to exchange and compete with each other. On the days of Tet, people temporarily stop their farm work so the tournament organized in this time can attract crowds of people to cheer. In addition to official tournament organized by the Commune People's Committee, in the New Year, in the village,some spontaneous tournaments are often taken place. This helps the Tet atmosphere in this upland commune become more active.

 

If previously, the leather volleyball (also known as hard volleyball) chose players, mostly the young people. So far, soft volleyball (steam volleyball) was born, both old people, young people have been satisfied with their wish to become players on the course. Soft Volleyball Club of Group 4, Thinh Lang Ward, Hoa Binh City was established more than 1 year ago. However, by now, the club has created a movement to attract many people in the Group to join in the team. Mr. Doan Minh Chinh, Head of Group 4, shared: Volleyball is a favorite sport among the local people in the Group, but only when there is soft volleyball, the elderly like us can participate in training to pratice our health. We usually play in the evening on normal days, and during New Year days, the groups often hold competition to exchange with each other.

It is also what has been shared by Mr. Bui Van Mung, Cultural Officer of Ngoc Lau commune (Lac Son). The New Year is the occasion for people to reunite, there are people working away from home, only meet others once or twice a year. Instead of having meal, drinking wine, they meet others at a volleyball course to exchange. dropping a cup of wine not only protects the health but also avoids many of the consequences that alcohol causes, "Mr. Mung explained.

Peach blossoms are blooming, Tet is knocking on each door. Throughout the villages, everyone is in a hurry to work, trying to finish the work of the old year and prepare for the new spring. Volleyball courses are also more and more active as the teams are practicing to compete in the tournaments of celebrating the Party, celebrating the new spring. A new spring, the "new volleyball season" is waiting for them in the New Year with the pink peach blossoms, the Tet pole, chung cake pot smoking  fatty meat, pickleed welsh onion - the indispensable on New Year Day, volleyball is also marked warmly in the traditional Lunar New Year. Playing volleyball helps people get closer to each other and avoid the over-drunken meeting.
