(HBO) - During 2 days (13 – 14 March), crossbow shooting - tug of war – stick pushing Competitions of Tan Lac district in 2018 has taken place eagerly, over 300 games with 518 players from 24 communes and towns participated to compete.

As an annual event held after the Lunar New Year in Tan Lac district, this year's competition has a higher number of athletes than the previous year, 100% of the units of communes and towns have athletes participating. Professional qualities are highly appreciated by the organizers, especially many young and new athletes competing with high achievements. The results of the competitions (only the first prize) are as follows: in the content of all-powerful crossbow shooting - the first male prize: Bui Quang Sang (Do Nhan), female: Quach Thi Nu (Thanh Hoi), the standing posture content of men double: Thanh Hoi, Men double's kneeling posture content: Quy Hau; the standing posture content of women double: Quy Hau; Women double's kneeling posture content: Muong Khen town.

The contents of the men's stick – pushing of weight up to 52kg: the first prize: Bui Van Nhat (Thanh Hoi); 52kg - 57kg: Bui Van Cong (Ngo Luong), 57kg - 63kg: Bui Van Hung (Phu Cuong); 63kg - 68kg: Ha Van Binh (Quyet Chien); 68 - 74kg: Dinh Van Bay (Lung Van); 74 - 79kg: Bui Van Huynh (Ngo Luong); 79kg - 84kg: Bui Van Noi (Ngoc My); 84kg: Bui Van Du (Tuan Lo).

The contents of the women's stick – pushing of 46kg - 51kg: Bui Thi Sao ( Thanh Hoi), 51kg - 57kg: Bui Thi Da (Thanh Hoi), 57kg - 62kg: Bui Thi Hoa (Thanh Hoi), 62kg - 67kg: Bui Thi My ) 67kg - 73kg: Bui Thi Nguyet (Ngo Luong).

The first prize of men’s tug of war competition was given to men doubles of Lung Van and the women's team of Ngo Luong for women’s tug of war competition.

About the group prizes, the first prize was given to Thanh Hoi commune, the second prize for Ngo Luong and the third prize for Quy Hau.
