(HBO) - In response to the campaign of "All people practice exercise in accordance with Uncle Ho's great example", the movement of sports and physical training has been enthusiastically responded to by the local people of Hop Hoa commune (Luong Son), which is known as the typical commune obtaining strongly developed sports and physical training movements of Luong Son District.

 

Over the years, Hop Hoa commune has always been known as a typical commune in the district's physical training and sports movement, and it regularly has high standard athletes competing in the districts. In particular, Hop Hoa commune has 8 typical athletes to be selected into the sports team of the district to compete in in the content of cross-bow shootings, stick pushing at the 6th Provincial Sports and Physical Training Competitions in 2018, in which there are 6 excellent athletes, achieving many medals in stick pushing content. Typically, the athlete Bui Van Sang won men's gold medal winner of stick pushing over 84 kg; Hoang Thi Thu, won women's gold medal winner of stick pushing over 74 kg, etc. At present, the commune has 9 sports clubs, 1 marathon team, 100% residential areas with men's volleyball team, women's volleyball team and softball volleyball team. Annually, in addition to organizing sports tournaments according to regulations, the commune also organizes many exchanges and sports competitions on the occasion of holidays, Tet holiday, special anniversaries; participating in all sports competitions organized by the district and always has athletes to achieve high rank in the exam contents.

Up to now, the commune has a central stadium, 100% of villages have standard cultural houses, there are amusement parks and sports grounds. In the early morning and afternoon, after hard labor hours, the local people in the hamlets and villages together participate in sports practice. Some sports which attract many people to participate in practicing together and creating the solidity, such as volleyball, football, badminton, walking, running, etc.

Recognizing the benefits of sports, local people in the commune actively practice, many families participate with two or three generations. Currently, the number of sports households in the commune reaches at 35%, the number of people practicing sports regularly reaches over 30%.
