Among the foreign teams, the Republic of Korea took the first
place in the overall rankings with two gold, four silver and two bronze medals,
followed by Thailand with two gold, three silver and four bronze and the
Philippines with two gold and one bronze medals.
Among domestic teams, the army team came first with three gold,
three silver and one bronze. The Nam Dinh team was second with two gold, two
silver and one bronze. In third place was the Hanoi team with two gold and two
silver.
On the final day of the tournament, Lee Huyn-Jae from the RoK
seized a gold medal in men’s discus-throwing while Boonun Supot of Thailand
triumphed in men’s Triple Jump.
In women’s 400m hurdle, Quach Thi Lan of Vietnam’s Thanh Hoa team
claimed the first place with a time of 57.53 seconds. Meanwhile, Medina Francis
from the Philippines won in the men’s category clocking 51.08 seconds.
Nguyen Thi Oanh of Hanoi team and RoK runner Lee Jae-ha pocketed
the gold medals in women and men’s 200m category, respectively.
Vietnamese runners Duong Van Thai and Nguyen Thi Oanh finished
first in 1,500m category for men’s and women’s, respectively.
Malaysia’s athlete Kamaruddin Norliyana secured first spot in
women’s high jump with a jump of 1.82m.
The 25th edition of the event began on July 26, bringing together
400 athletes from 40 provinces and cities nationwide and 120 foreign athletes
from 11 countries and territories. They competed in 22 categories for men and
21 for women.

On November 10, at Hoa Binh Square, Vietnam Cycling Federation (VCF) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh province and Minh Viet Communications and Trading Company to Vietnam Gran Fondo Championships in 2024 - IRCtire Cup. Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the opening ceremony.
In the morning of November 8, the Organizing Committee of Lac Thuy District’s Sports Tournament organized the 2024 District Marathon Tournament. There was the participation of 60 athletes from 10 communes and the town, competing in 4 competition events (male champion, female champion, young male, young female).
During the two days, November 7 - 8, the Provincial Women's Union organized the steam volleyball tournament for the officials of the Women's Union at all levels of Hoa Binh province in 2024. There was the attendance of Mr. Bui Tien Luc, the member of the Standing Committee, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization.
On October 31st, the Culture, Sports and Communications Center of Tan Lac district coordinated with the District’s Youth Union to organize the 2024 traditional marathon tournament of the district.
After the 2024 Traditional Marathon Tournament, Luong Son district has established a team with many high-ranking runners, focusing on fostering, training and being ready to compete at the XXXI Hoa Binh Newspaper Cup Traditional Marathon Tournament in 2024.
Taking place from October 9 to 20 in Hoa Binh City, the National Road and Mountain Bike Championships 2024 attracted hundreds of young athletes from provinces and cities across the country.
