Wushu girl Hoang Thi Phuong Giang brought home an additional bronze medal for the Vietnamese sports delegation at the 2018 Asian Games (Asiad 18) on August 22.
Phuong Giang was the seventh player in the list of nine finalists in
the women's changquan event this morning. She performed admirably to score 9.71
points but it was not enough for her to claim gold.
The 1992 born athlete finished just 0.03 points lower than
the gold medalist, China’s
Qi Xinyi (9.74 points). The silver medal went to Li Yi from Macau (China) with
9.72 points, just 0.01 points higher than Phuong Giang.
