(HBO) - In the recent June, the first Mizuno Kids 2018 table tennis tournament for young people and teenagers took place in Hoa Binh city, which once again reminded the lovers of table tennis exciting amaze: where is the Mizuno table tennis championship from? Which organizations and individuals organize? This is not the first time, because Mizuno table tennis tournament has appeared in the province since 2016.
. "This sweet Season" is the result
of the action of "socializing" sports and gymnastics from the
founders, who are two players (cum table tennis teachers) at the table tennis
club of Hoa Binh city: Ha Tuan Son and Nguyen The Vinh.

With the passion and understanding the
movement as well as the love of table tennis of Hoa Binh players together with
the relationship with a company specializing in supplying sports items, Ha Tuan
Son and Nguyen The Vinh had an idea of creating a playful, healthy playground
for the fans of table tennis in Hoa Binh. Ha Tuan Son shared: "Although we
had to face the difficulty of funding and less experience in organizing, we
feel secure because of the support of the ping-pong specialists inside and outside
the province (via facebook), the city Sports and Culture Center, Hoa Binh Table
Tennis Club and the table tennis clubs in the city, etc. They always support us
in many aspects, so each season is being held smoothly in terms of
organization, attracting more participants. In the first season (2016), only
one content of individual men (64 athletes from provinces and cities of Hoa
Binh, Ninh Binh, Hanoi, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Nam Dinh. In 2017, Mizuno Cup had
three contents (individual men, individual women over 45, individual women with
nearly 100 athletes from many provinces), and in Muzino kids, there were 4
contents for individual men and 2 contents for women with the participation of
74 athletes from other provinces and districts.
Ha Tuan Son shared: The 3rd Mizuno Prize in
2018 will be more exciting because there are 7 competition contents. In
particular, it is the first time that the content of team competition will be
organized (2 teammate contents and 5 individual content). Currently, even
though there is about 1 month due the Championship but more than 30 delegations
have registered.
In recent years, Lac Thuy district has paid increasing attention to investing in cultural and sports infrastructure. These grassroots facilities have attracted a large number of residents to participate in recreational and cultural activities, physical training, and community engagement, contributing to the development of cultural life and the local socio-economic growth.
In recent years, the mass physical training and sports (PTS) movement in Hoa Binh province has developed strongly and spread widely. Regardless of age, gender or occupation, people actively participate in physical training, creating a vibrant and enthusiastic sports atmosphere within the community.
Recently, Hoa Binh’s athletes have continued to show strong performances at national-level competitions. Alongside elite athletes, several standout performers have emerged from grassroots sports movements, underlining the province’s growing sports culture.
From April 26 to 27, at the Provincial Sports Arena, the Hoa Binh Provincial Karate Federation organized the 2025 Hoa Binh Open ASUDO Karate Championship.
While modern sports like volleyball and football continue to grow in popularity, traditional folk games and ethnic sports remain a vibrant and essential part of cultural life among the Muong community in Hoa Binh province.
A total of 85 young players from across Hoa Binh province recently participated in the provincial Youth Table Tennis Tournament. Organised by the provincial Centre for Youth Activities, the event was part of activities to celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – 2025) and the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 – 2025).
