HBO – Hoa Binh province’s tennis federation, in collaboration with the local Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, held Hoa Binh Tennis Championships 2018, attracting the participation of 148 athletes from 18 tennis clubs in the province.

Athletes competed for six sets of medals in the categories of men’s doubles at the age of below 35, men’s doubles at the age of between 36-42, men’s doubles at the age of between 43-48, men’s doubles at the age of between 49-55, men’s doubles at the age of above 56, and women’s doubles. According to the organising board, this year’s tournament drew a large number of athletes with relatively equal quality. Participating athletes entertained the audience with over 70 attractive matches.

The organising board presented cups and medals for duos with high results: in the women’s doubles, first prize: Nguyen Thi Loan and Nguyen Thi Hai Au (provincial Party Committee club), second: Nguyen Thi Thu Hao and Truong Thuy Trinh (Power Company club), third: Bui Hong Hanh and Nguyen Ngoc Han (Health Department club) and Duong Thi Hoi and Dinh Thi Thuy (Lottery Company club); in the men’s doubles at the age of above 56, first prize: Tran Van Phu and Truong Hung Cuong (Lottery Company club), second: Nguyen Van Kiem and Bui Van Cuong (Health Department club), third: Nguyen Ngoc Bich and Tran Duc Thinh (Luong Son club) and Pham Duy Duc and Chau Van Nghia (Health Department club); in the men’s doubles at the age of between 49-55, first: Vuong Van Hung and Nguyen Chinh Tinh (Power Company club), second: Nguyen Huy Hoang and Hoang Van Quy (Hydropower Company club), third: Hoang Viet Cuong and Nguyen Son Hai (Hoa Binh City club) and Pham Van Truong and Luong Hai Hoa (Lottery Company club); in the men’s doubles at the age of between 43-48, first: Le Ngoc Hong and Tran Duc Toan (Hydropower Company club), second: Dang Tuan Hung and Tran Van Tien (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism club), third: Bui Van Tien and Ha Tat Dat (provincial Military High Command club) and Tran Anh and Nguyen Quang Hao (Luong Son club); in the men’s doubles at the age of between 36-42, first: Khuong Minh Tuan and Nguyen Quang Dung (Lottery Company club), second: Trinh Trung Hai and Vu Quoc Hung (Hoa Binh City club), third: Le Vinh Thanh and Nguyen Tran Duc Hieu (Hoa Binh City club) and Nguyen Manh Cuong and Nguyen Xuan Thuy (19-5 Vista club); in the men’s doubles at the age of below 35, first: Tran Ngoc Son and Xa Ky Son (Taxation Department club), second: Hoang Ly Hai and Pham Tuan Anh (provincial Police club), third: Tran Duc Trung and Nguyen Trong Nghia (Lottery Company club) and Le Viet Anh and Ly Quang Thang (Hydropower Company club)./.
