(HBO) - Hoa Binh province’s Department of Education and Training held a tennis tournament for teachers in 2018, aiming to raise funds for local poor pupils.

Representatives from the organising board present cups
and flags to athletes with best performance in the category of mixed doubles.
The event attracted the participation of 52 athletes
from 20 units who compete in three categories of the mixed doubles, men’s doubles under 40 years
old, and men’s doubles from 41 years old and above.
In the men’s doubles from 41 years old and above, Nguyen
Quang Minh and Do Sy Khang from the province’s Department of Education and
Training won the first prize. The second and third prizes respectively went to Le
Quang Binh and Nguyen Anh Tuan from Lac Son district’s Education Division, and Nguyen
Dinh Anh and Luong Van Thi from Da Bac district’s tennis club.
Meanwhile, in the men’s doubles under 40 years old, Dinh
Ngoc Hung and Pham Quoc Hoan from the province’s Department of Education and
Training were the first prize winners. Nguyen Thanh Son and Nguyen Trung Dung
from Hoa Binh city’s Division of Education and Training were the runner-ups, while
Nguyen Huu Dung and Bui Duc Huong from Hoa Binh city won the third prize.
Nguyen Quang Hop and Vuong Thi Xuan from Luong Son
district’s Education Division received the first prize in the mixed doubles; Nguyen Quang Minh and Bui Thi Nga
from Lac Son district’s Education Division won the second prize, while Nguyen
Thanh Hai and Nguyen Thi Tu from the vocational college earned the third prize.
The organisation board also awarded cups to teams that showed the best
performance at the event.
All the prize money was presented to poor students
with outstanding academic achievementsin Da Bac district./.

From April 26 to 27, at the Provincial Sports Arena, the Hoa Binh Provincial Karate Federation organized the 2025 Hoa Binh Open ASUDO Karate Championship.
While modern sports like volleyball and football continue to grow in popularity, traditional folk games and ethnic sports remain a vibrant and essential part of cultural life among the Muong community in Hoa Binh province.
A total of 85 young players from across Hoa Binh province recently participated in the provincial Youth Table Tennis Tournament. Organised by the provincial Centre for Youth Activities, the event was part of activities to celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – 2025) and the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 – 2025).
