The reigning champions needed only two minutes to find the back of the net with a brilliant shot by Vu Xuan Du.

However, Sanna Khanh Hoa proved things were not so easy for Thai Son Nam as captain Mai Thanh Dat slotted one in from close range to level the score nine minutes later.

The equaliser inspired Khanh Hoa to play more confidently, creating a lot of difficulties for the opposite side.

Nguyen Phuc managed to score mere seconds before half time, helping his side successfully reverse the situation.

After the break, Thai Son Nam made some substitutions which proved effective, allowing them to reclaim control of the game.

With the 3-2 victory over Sanna Khanh Hoa, Thai Son Nam club have walked away with the two most prestigious crowns of Vietnamese futsal in 2018 at the National Championship and National Cup arenas.

At the closing ceremony, held after the final match, the organising committee presented the "Best Goalkeeper” and "Best Player” awards to Ho Van Y of Thai Son Nam club and Khong Dinh Hung of Sanna Khanh Hoa, respectively. Meanwhile, alongside the overall championship title, Thai Son Nam were also honoured with the Fair-play award.
