The reigning champions needed only two minutes to find the back
of the net with a brilliant shot by Vu Xuan Du.
However, Sanna Khanh Hoa proved things were not so easy for Thai
Son Nam as captain Mai Thanh Dat slotted one in from close range to level the
score nine minutes later.
The equaliser inspired Khanh Hoa to play more confidently,
creating a lot of difficulties for the opposite side.
Nguyen Phuc managed to score mere seconds before half time,
helping his side successfully reverse the situation.
After the break, Thai Son Nam made some substitutions which
proved effective, allowing them to reclaim control of the game.
