Hai, captain of the national team, ended his contract with
former champions Song Lam Nghe An last season. Both sides wanted to renew their
relationship but did not come to happy ending. He played 23 matches and score
three goals last season.
Hai, 25, will pocket VND3 billion (US$129,000) along with
monthly salary and other bonuses that were not revealed for his signature with
Viettel who come back to the V.League after 10 years.
Currently Hai is training in Hanoi with teammates in prepare
for the Asian Cup beginning in January 2019.
