HBO - It is proposed that the Provincial People's Committee advocate for the planning of the province's mountain biking track to meet the regional, the national and the international competitions. Vietnam National Administration of Sports has commissioned and facilitated Hoa Binh province to host the national long-distance biking and mountain biking championships in 2019, aiming to host the cycling competition of the 31st Sea Games program in 2021 in Hoa Binh province and so on. They are the very authentic proposals from the representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism with the expectation of bringing the province's sports to new level.

The athletes are competing in table tennis content at the 8th Phu Dong Health (High School Youth) Festival, 2019 of the province. 

Currently, in the province's sports institution system, there are 11 stadiums in the districts and the city, 7 artificial grass mini soccer pitches, 26 ordinary football pitches; 8 swimming pools, including 1 swimming pool qualified for the national competitions. There are 108 volleyball courts, 14 basketball courts and over 50 tennis courts.

The investment in the infrastructure, institutions, propaganda and mobilization of the mass sports has been expanding in the province. Up till now, over 720 clubs and sports clubs have been maintaining the regular operation. Every year, a lot of sports tournaments are organized in the province. They are crossbow shooting, tug of war, stick pushing, the volleyball tournament for women and farmers, the badminton and table tennis tournament for workers and employees, the tennis tournament and so on. They also host and participate in the national sports tournaments such as: Championships of stick pushing, tug of war, long-distance biking and mountain biking, paragliding tournament and the tournament for the national young volleyball trophy clubs. The sector of education and training has also contributed to the periodic organization of Phu Dong Health (High School Youth) Festival (from school to district, city and provincial levels), attracting tens of thousands of turns of students.

The training of high-achievement sports development skills is paid attention to and rightly invested. Currently, the High School for gifted sports of the province are concentrating in training 7 gifted classes with 100 students in the following subjects: athletics, karate, biking, boxing, weightlifting, stick pushing, pencatsilat and so on. In the school year 2019 -2020, the school 30 students of sports gifted classes in the province have been added.

Having been created a basic "background", high-achievement sports in the province has been gradually developing, approaching and achieving encouraging achievements. In recent years, our province has had many athletes competing and winning medals at the regional and national arenas. They have been granted the rank of champion athletes, first-class athletes and have been selected for the national team by the Vietnam National Administration of Sports.
