(HBO) - In recent years, in addition to performing the professional tasks, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, the Health Sector of Hoa Binh province has been paying much attention to implementing the physical training and sports movement.

The preferred sports for training and competition are badminton, table tennis, volleyball, soccer and other sports which are easy to practice. To develop the movement, the Trade Union of the canter has actively advised the executive committees of the party and proposed the canter’s leaders to facilitate the funding for the construction of the sports playground and equipment for the sports activities.

Mr. Le Duy Long, the Chairman of the Trade Union of the Health Sector says that currently the Trade Union has 39 local trade unions with over 4,240 members. In order to take care of the spiritual life for the employees, the Trade Union of the Health Sector and its local Trade Unions regularly organize sports tournaments on the occasion of the public holidays and the sector’s celebrations. Through the sports activities the exciting emulation atmosphere has been created, building the solidarity and the cohesion among the colleagues and building a friendly working environment for every employee to devote themselves serving the sick and the people.

In the coming time, the Trade Union of the Health sector is directing the grassroots health sectors to continue paying attention to the investment in training grounds, organizing the exchanges and competitions in and outside the sectors, attracting more officials and members to promote the increasing development of the sports movement, encouraging the health sector staff to actively practice sports, contributing to strengthening the health and improving the cultural and spiritual life in order to well perform the professional tasks. 

The maintenance and development of the sports movement have contributed an important part to building the cultural beauty, the working style, the friendly and close image of the officials and employees of the Health sector in the new period.
