In 2018, over 1,100 grassroots unions in the province organized cultural and sports activities, reaching 88%. Over the past years, the provincial Labor Federation and the grassroots trade union have organized many practical and meaningful sports tournaments. They are interested in building and upgrading sports fields. Since then, the movement of physical training and exercise among workers, employees has spread widely.

Cultural and sports activities associated with anniversaries, holidays, Labor International 1/5 and Months of workers organized by all union levels attracting a large number of workers and employees. In 2018, the provincial Labor Federation organized over 650 sports festivals, with the participation of nearly 36,000 turns of employees and workers. In 2019, Luong Son Industrial Zone held a sports and cultural festival with the participation of more than 900 athletes from 14 units in Luong Son Industrial Zone...

Most businesses have a sports playground for workers. The whole province has more than 2,000 badminton courts, volleyball, football ... to serve the needs of practicing sports of workers. The interest and development of the sports movement of workers has contributed to promoting the movement of sports practice in the community.

Mr. Hoang Minh Tuan, Chairman of the provincial Industrial Zones Union affirmed: "In recent years, in order to have a strong movement of physical training and sports, the provincial Industrial Zones have always created conditions for workers to practice sports to improve health, spiritual life for workers. In 2019, the union organized football and volleyball sports events to respond to the Month of workers and the Month of occupational safety and health at the left bank of Da river Zone ... Sports tournaments have attracted the interest and enthusiastic cheering of many workers.
