(HBO) - On August 1st, the National Young Mountain Biking Championship and the National Mountain Biking Championship in 2019 will officially open in Hoa Binh City. It is expected that in this competition there will be about 200 participants, including coaches, officials and athletes of 10 delegations: An Giang, The Army, Son La, Binh Duong, Lao Cai, Thanh Hoa, Vinh Phuc, Hanoi, Dong Thap and Hoa Binh.

There will be 13 athletes, including 3 coaches, 3 women athletes and 7 male athletes in our province taking part in this competition. Currently, the athletes are rushing to practice and be ready for the competition to achieve the best results.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from July 30 to August 6. In the National Young Mountain Cycling Championship and the National Mountain Cycling Championship in 2019, the athletes will compete in the following contents: men and women of all ages, the individual passing up and down the slopes of the hill, the relay passing up and down the slopes of the hill, the personal and teammate Olympic passing up and down the slopes of the hill, passing up the slopes. The distances are 1.5 km, 5 km, 15 km, 20 km, 25 km, 30 km. The race takes place in the area of Ong Tuong Hill, Phuong Lam Ward (Hoa Binh City).

There are 13 athletes of the Mountain Cycling team participating in this year's tournament. They are all the promising athletes of the bicycle class, the Provincial Gifted School of Physical Education and Sports. In addition to regularly practicing the exercises in the plans given by the coaches, besides the technical exercises, the athletes must also practice both physical and psychological stability during the competition in order to prepare well for the tournament. Regularly morning and afternoon every day, The athletes practice about 2.5 hours during a training session every morning and afternoon. The training site is usually within Ong Tuong hill and Truong Han Sieu road in Thinh Lang wards. This year, besides the names that have had a lot of experience in competition such as Dinh Van Linh, Nguyen Van Quang, Ha Cong Ky, Bui Van Tuan, Bui Van Nhat, there are also young athlêts, promising to bring more surprise.

The National Young Mountain Biking Championship and the National Mountain Biking Championship in 2019 held in the province will create conditions for the athletes of the provincial bicycle team to compete and improve their professional qualifications as well as the experience of organizing other tournaments, proceeding to host the bicycle racing in the 31st SEA Games in 2021 held in Vietnam. At the same time, it will contribute to promoting the tourism potentials, introducing Hoa Binh's culture and people to the domestic and international friends.
