The competitions of the athletes from Da Bac high school and Lac Son boarding secondary school for ethnic minorities.
This year's tournament attracted the participation of 150 athletes from 35 units, including 9 departments of education and training from the districts and the city, 4 boarding secondary schools for ethnic minorities, 19 high schools, 2 colleges and 1 inter-level high school.
The teams competed in 9 events, dividing into 5 age groups (46 and older, 36-45 years old, under 35 years old, under 40 years old, over 40 years old) and 7 knockout rounds. Experiencing 141 exciting and attracting matches, the Organizing Committee presented medals and souvenir flags to the best competitive couples.
The results (only the first prizes are stated), the content of the male doubles for the management staff: Dinh Ngoc Son and Nguyen Trung Kien (Bac Son High School). A male couple of 46 years old or older: Nguyen Duc Loi and Dinh Cong Tam (The Department of Education and Training of Kim Boi District). The mixed couple at the age of over 46: Nguyen Van Chau and Ha Thi Huong (Mai Chau High School). The male couple at the age of 36 – 45: Phan Thanh Nam, Dao Van Chung (The Department of Education and Training of Luong Son district). The mixed couple at the age of 36 - 45: Xa Hong Thang, Xa Thi Mo (The Department of Education and Training of Da Bac district). The couple at the age of under 35: Pham Thanh Tung, Tran Manh Cuong (Kim Boi High School). The mixed couple at the age of under 35: Bui Thanh Tuan, Pham Thi Bach Yen (The Department of Education and Training of Yen Thuy district). The mixed couple at the age of under 40: Hoang Thuy Linh, Tran Huyen Trang (The Department of Education and Training of Lac Son district). The female couple at the age of over 40: Le Thi Thu Ha, Nguyen Thi Yen (Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted).
The first prize in the whole group was awarded to the Department Education and Training of Da Bac District. The second one was awarded to the Department of Education and Training of Luong Son district. The third prize was awarded to the Department of Education and Training of Kim Boi district and Yen Thuy district.
In recent years, Lac Thuy district has paid increasing attention to investing in cultural and sports infrastructure. These grassroots facilities have attracted a large number of residents to participate in recreational and cultural activities, physical training, and community engagement, contributing to the development of cultural life and the local socio-economic growth.
In recent years, the mass physical training and sports (PTS) movement in Hoa Binh province has developed strongly and spread widely. Regardless of age, gender or occupation, people actively participate in physical training, creating a vibrant and enthusiastic sports atmosphere within the community.
Recently, Hoa Binh’s athletes have continued to show strong performances at national-level competitions. Alongside elite athletes, several standout performers have emerged from grassroots sports movements, underlining the province’s growing sports culture.
From April 26 to 27, at the Provincial Sports Arena, the Hoa Binh Provincial Karate Federation organized the 2025 Hoa Binh Open ASUDO Karate Championship.
While modern sports like volleyball and football continue to grow in popularity, traditional folk games and ethnic sports remain a vibrant and essential part of cultural life among the Muong community in Hoa Binh province.
A total of 85 young players from across Hoa Binh province recently participated in the provincial Youth Table Tennis Tournament. Organised by the provincial Centre for Youth Activities, the event was part of activities to celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – 2025) and the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 – 2025).
