(HBO) - All the sports requiring large space to practice such as volleyball, soccer, cycling, nourishing...have to pause because it is erratic rainy or sunny. The rainy season is also a worry and concern of the sports trainers.

By the end of 2019, there are more than 1,500 sports facilities without stands and only 29 sports facilities with stands in Hoa Binh province. Although practicing and teaching are still in difficult conditions and the facilities are limited, but people do not give up their sports habits and passion for that reason. They are always enthusiastic and active in practice, thereby it has been making the movement of mass sports at grassroots level more and more prosperous, attracting the participation of all classes of people to improve their health, the spiritual life and the solidarity in the residential area.

Although mass sports have been interrupted, high-achievement sports in our province has consecutively won medals at a number of the national sports tournaments. They have won 1 bronze medal at the 26th National Karate Youth Championship in 2020, 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, 3 bronze medals at the National Young Athletics Championship in 2020, 1 bronze medal at the National Championship of Taekwondo Clubs in 2020, won 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals at the 26th National Road and Off-road Cycling Championship in 2020.

From October 14th – 22nd, in Hoa Binh City, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism cooperated with the General Department of to organize the 34th National Off-Road and Road Cycling Championship in 2020. Despite competing in the condition of quite heavy rain with the slippery track, the athletes tried their best to compete. In the event of off-road cycling competition in the area of Ong Tuong hill, although it was already sunny, the track was still muddy and slippery ... causing many difficulties for the cyclists like Dinh Thi Nhu Quynh (Tan Lac) - Muong ethnic off-road cyclist, who won the first gold medal for the Vietnamese sports delegation to compete at the 30th SEA Games or the National Grand Master Dinh Van Linh (Tan Lac) ... The results of the whole team are as follows: Hoa Binh team has won 4 gold and 1 silver medals.
