(HBO) - On November 6th, the People's Committee of Tan Lac district held the launching ceremony of the Olympic Running Day for the entire people's health and the traditional Marathon Tournament in 2020. The leaders of Hoa Binh Newspaper, the District People's Committee and the representatives from the departments, the branches and the unions of the district attended it.

The district's mass sport movement in recent years has strongly developed. Every year, the district maintains regular campaigns in response to the Olympic Running Day for the entire people's health to propagate, mobilize and attract a large number of people to participate. The local authorities and government have been paying great attention to creating good conditions for the mass movement of sports and physical training to develop.

At the traditional Marathon tournament in 2020, 17 delegations with more than 100 athletes from the communes, the town and high schools in the area took part in to compete in 4 events. They include the male champion (6 km distance), the champion for young men (4 km distance), the female champion (4 km distance), the champion for young women (3 km distance).
