(HBO) - The State Bank of the province held a male mini football tournament for the provincial banking sector in 2021.

There were 126 players from 9 teams of the banks in
the province participating in the tournament. The teams were divided into 3
groups that compete in a circle, selecting one best team in each group and one
highest runner-up for the semi-finals and the finals. After 3 days of the
tournament with 12 exciting, and dramatic matches, the players showed their
bravery, the technical playstyle, dedicating the good palys and beautiful
passes to the fans. In the tournament there were 40 goals scored, including 1
player scored 4 goals against the other team's net.
At the end of the prize, the Organizing Committee
awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes
to teams participating in the tournament. Particularly, the team of the Bank
for Investment and Development excellently won the first prize and the
championship trophy, the team of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development
1 won the second prize, the two third prizes were awarded to the the team of MB
Bank and the team of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development 2.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded
the prize to the player who scored the most goals, Hoang Le Anh from the team
of the Bank for Investment and Development team; the award for the best player
was awarded to Pham Hung from the Bank for the team of Agriculture and Rural
Development 1 and the awarded for the best goalkeeper was given to Ta Trung Son
from the team of MB Bank.

From April 26 to 27, at the Provincial Sports Arena, the Hoa Binh Provincial Karate Federation organized the 2025 Hoa Binh Open ASUDO Karate Championship.
While modern sports like volleyball and football continue to grow in popularity, traditional folk games and ethnic sports remain a vibrant and essential part of cultural life among the Muong community in Hoa Binh province.
A total of 85 young players from across Hoa Binh province recently participated in the provincial Youth Table Tennis Tournament. Organised by the provincial Centre for Youth Activities, the event was part of activities to celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – 2025) and the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 – 2025).
