In 2022, there is a major
sporting event that cannot be ignored, it is the Southeast Asian Games in 2021
(SEA Games 31). Recently, in the afternoon of January 14th, the delegation of
the General Department of Sports and Physical Training, led by the Deputy
Director General, Ms. Le Thi Hoang Yen, surveyed and worked in the province -
the locality hosting the cycling event in the program of SEA Games 31.
According to the assessment, the road bike race track basically meets the
quality and ensures the construction progress; The mountain bike track is being
upgraded and repaired, the construction unit urgently executes the items of
which the ground has been handed over, and they have asked for the construction
extension to the end of March 2022, ensuring the progress of putting the
project into use. In addition, the system of the functional rooms in accordance

Hanoi National Sports Training Center in 2022, in order to prepare the forces
for the 31st SEA Games, the province has one coach, Mr. Tran Dai Nghia and 3

to the promotion and introduction of the province's tourism, the economic and
cultural potentials and an opportunity to affirm the position of sports in the
province.
The year of 2022 is also an
important year for the sports employees in the whole province: organizing the
Sports Congress at all levels and competing in the 7th Provincial Sports
Congress in 2022; improving the rankings at the National Sports Festival.
However, the organization of the grassroots sports congress so far has not been
able to follow the plan. Over the past time, the Department of Culture, Sports
and Tourism has always paid attention and created conditions for the officials
and the civil servants to participate in training courses to improve their
professional qualifications and skills in sport and physical activities. In
2021, there were 3 training courses to foster the sports and physical skills
and the organization of the 7th Provincial Sports Congress in 2022 for the
cultural officials in the communes, the wards and the townships; 10 out of the
10 districts and the city opened the training courses to foster the
professional skills for the instructors, the sports collaborators, the district
officials of the communes, the wards and the townships.

Culture, Sports and Tourism sets the specific tasks: Successfully organizing
the Sports Congress at all levels, the 7th Provincial Sports Congress in 2022
and attending the 9th National Sports Festival in 2022; coordinating to well
prepare the conditions for hosting the successful and safe organization of
cycling in the program of SEA Games 31

practice sports and physical training; the number of the sports households
reach 26.4% of the total number of households… To successfully complete the set
tasks, it requires the determination and the efforts from the sports employees
at all levels, the team of coaches, athletes with the consensus and the joint
efforts of the People.
