(HBO) - On March 20, Lien Son commune held the opening ceremony of the first Sports Congress in 2022. This is the unit selected by Luong Son district for the grassroots model sports festival, towards the IX Sports Congress of the district in 2022.

The paraded block shows the force at the Sports Congress in Lien Son commune (Luong Son). 

Due to the impact of Covid-19 pandemics, the competition sports of the 1st Sports Congress in Lien Son commune in 2022 would take place from February 2021 - March 2022, including 5 subjects and 6 competitions with the participation of 1,000 athletes. In which, there are 4 sports competing before the congress: male and female volleyball; badminton; tug-of-war; stick pushing. On the opening day of the congress, the male and female crossbow competition was held.

The results are as follows: the Organizing Committee awarded 24 sets of medals of all kinds to the athletes, in which there were two sets of medals for male and female volleyball, one set of medals was for tug-of-war, 6 sets were for badminton, 11were sets for stick pushing and 4 sets were for crossbow shooting. For the group prize, the first one was awarded to Song village, the second prize was awarded to Ao Kenh village and the third one was awarded to Cham village. 

The 1st Sports Congress of Lien Son Commune in 2022 is an opportunity for all classes of people to participate in sports and physical activities to improve their health and compete responding to the campaign "All people playing sports following the example of great Uncle Ho”. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to select the excellent athletes to attend the District’s Sports Congress in the near future.
