(HBO) - On April 8th, the Organizing Committee of the XXX Traditional marathon of Hoa Binh Newspaper Cup in 2022 held a meeting to implement the plan and the methods to organize the competition.

The XXX traditional marathon competition of Hoa Binh Newspaper Cup is a provincial championship, which is one of the 15 competitions in the program of the 7th Hoa Binh Provincial Sports Festival in 2022. This is a practical activity celebrating the 47thanniversary of the Liberation of the South and the unification of the country (April 30th, 1975 - April 30th, 2022) and the International Labor Day, May 1st. Responding to welcome the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam. At the same time, the organization of the tournament is to promote the movement of practicing sports in general and marathon in particular among the youth, students, and people of all the ethnic groups in the province, contributing to effectively implementing the campaign "All people do exercises following the great example of Uncle Ho”.

The competition takes place on April 23rd in Hoa Binh city. More than 200 people are expected to attend. The competition contents include 7 km for the male champion 7 km, 5 km for the female champion, 5 km for the young male champion, 3 km for the young female champion, 6 km for the male champion of high schools, 4 km for the female champion of high schools.

At the meeting, the Organizing Committee of the tournament implemented the plan and the methods to organize the XXX traditional marathon tournament of Hoa Binh Newspaper Cup in 2022. The specific tasks were signed to each member. Fundraising, propagandizing about the tournament, checking the athletes’ personnel records, mobilizing students to run showing the strength, ensuring the security and order in the tournament area, and ensuring health and safety for the athletes participating in the competition, preventing and controlling Covid-19 epidemics... The members of the Organizing Committee focused on discussing, contributing ideas, agreeing on the plan and organizational plans for the tournament so that it would take place successfully, safely, effectively, ensuring the quality.
