An impressive and beautiful art performance program at the opening ceremony of the 7th Sports Congress of Hoa Binh City.
The 7th Provincial Sports Congress in 2022 includes 15 competitive sports: Table tennis, badminton, swimming, volleyball, 7-a-side football, tennis, marathon, karate, vovinam, chess, Chinese chess, athletics, crossbows shooting, tug of war, stick pushing; competing in 120 sets of medals, focusing on the and strong key sports, and the national sports. The organization of the congress is to develop the sports and sports movement among cadres, civil servants, employees, armed forces, pupils, students and the masses to improve health and the quality of human resources serving labor and study to build and defend the Fatherland in the current period. At the same time, it helps continueing to promote the campaign "All people do exercises following the great Uncle Ho's example” in the period of 2021-2025; practically celebrating the anniversary of the major national and local holidays. It is also the occasion to evaluate the professional qualifications of the officials and the coaches and improve the achievements of the athletes in the province's sports, thereby it helpe selecting an outstanding force of athletes to train and participate in the 9th National Sports Festival in 2022.
Towards the 7th Provincial Sports Congress, before that, the sporrts congresses at the grassroots and district’s level were held excitingly, attractively, which were suitable to the conditions of each locality. Through the competitions, with the sports spirit of honesty, solidarity and nobility, the athletes have shown high determination in competition, seriously obeying the rules and regulations of the competition as prescribed by the Organizing Committee. Thanks to that, the professional quality is good, the assessment of the results is accurate, attracting hundreds of athletes to participate in the competition and the people enthusiastically cheering. At the same time, 10 districts and the city have selected the typical faces with the best competitive results and the selected teams have been chosen to attend the provincial sports congress.
As a standing agency, over the past time, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has actively coordinated with relevant departments, agencies, organizations, and units for the organization of the Sports Congress at all levels to ensure the effective results. Mr. Dao Tien Cuong, the Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism says: "Up to now, the grassroots level and 10 out of the 10 districts and the city have completed organizing the sports congress. The sports congress at the district’s level has been implemented according to the set plan, énuring the quality and sàety. The preparation for the opening ceremony of the 7th Provincial Sports Congress in 2022 is being implemented according to plan with the motto of safety, effetiveness and money saving. The opening ceremony has been elaborately prepared by the Organizing Committee of the congress with a parade showing the force, a concert performance, and an impressive and unique art program, and it is expected to have about 5,000 people participting in it…”.
According to Plan No. 184 KH/UBND of the Organizing Committee of the 7th Provincial Sports Congress in 2022 on the plan to organize the provincial congresses and to attend the 9th National Sports Festival in 2022, the Provincial sports delegations will compete in the 9th National Sports Festival with the goal of trying to win 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal, 2 bronze medals, ranking the 45th out of the 65 provinces and the cities in the country, in the top 10 out of 19 mountainous areas.
On these days, some main roads of Hoa Binh city are brightly decorated with the colors of the national flag, banners and slogans to celebrate the province's biggest sports festival. With the careful and thorough preparation, the 7th Provincial Sports Congress in 2022 is expected to leave good impressions, bringing joy and excitement to all coaches, athletes, and others doing sports and the people in the province.
