(HBO) - On October 14, the Organizing Committee of the 7th Sports Congress of Hoa Binh province in 2022 held a summary of the Congress. Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Head of the Organizing Committee of the Congress; Mr. Vo Ngoc Kien, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; the leaders of the appropriate departments, branches and localities; the representatives of the athletes from the districts and the city and the outstanding athletes with high achievements at the congress attended it.


Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Head of the Organizing Committee of the Congress presented the first, second and third flags from the whole delegation to the athletes from Tan Lac, Lac Son and Kim Boi districts.

According to the Organizing Committee, the 7th Sports Congress of Hoa Binh province was a great success with many remarkable results. At the grassroots level, 151 out of the 151 communes, wards and townships held the congress (beyond the set target). At the level of the district and the city, 10 out of the 10 districts and the city have successfully organized the Sports Congress. Along with that, two branches, the provincial Military Headquaters and Ministry of Public Security have selected the athletes from the sports team to organize training and participate in the competition in the program of the Provincial Sports Congress. Despite the difficult conditions, many localities have organized the Congress with good professional quality. On average, each district congress organizes 8-10 competitive sports with about 3,000 people mobilized to participate.

There are 15 competitive sports at the 7th Provincial Sports Congress, a total of 1,411 athletes competed in 122 sets of medals. The organization of the competitive sports in the program of the Games is guaranteed the safety, determining the correct achievements of the athletes and the participating teams. As a result, the athlete delegation of Tan Lac district won the 1st place with 23 gold medals, 18 silver medals, 10 bronze medals, a total of 51 sets of medals; the second place belongs to the athletes of Lac Son district; the third place belongs to the athletes of Kim Boi district.

Making a speech at the closing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Head of the Organizing Committee of the 7th Provincial Sports Congress affirmed: The Congress was a great success. The competitive contents took place attractively, in accordance with the sports spirit of solidarity - honesty - nobility. The results of the competitive contents showed that the delegations had been quite well prepared in terms of forces and necessary conditions, contributing to improving the professional quality of the largest sport event in the province. The successful organization of the Congress shows that this is really a big playground for the participation of the athletes. Through the competition results, the province continues to select the typical athletes to supplement the forces for training and preparing to attend the IX National Sports Congress in 2022.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented the first, second and third flags for the whole delegation to the athletes from Tan Lac, Lac Son and Kim Boi districts. They presented flags to 4 units that well organized the sports congresses at all levels, including the Organizing Committees of sports congresses in Tan Lac, Lac Thuy, Cao Phong, and Yen Thuy districts.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 10 collectives and 20 individuals; The Organizing Committee of the 7th Sports Congress of Hoa Binh province presented the certificates of merit to 20 teams and 30 individuals with the outstanding achievements.


Mr. Vo Ngoc Kien, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Provincial People's Committee to the representatives of the collectives that made important contributions to the organization of the Congress.


Ms. Bui Thi Niem, the Director of the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded the flags to the units that well organized the 7th Sports Congress in 2022 at all levels.
