(HBO) - On December 12, in the terrain cycling race at the 9th National Sports Congress, the athletes continued to compete in the following events: individual and female teammate Olympic cross-country and individual and male teammate Olympic cross-country running.


The female athletes start the event of male teammate Olympic cross-country running. 

There were 25 athletes participating in the content of individual and female teammate Olympic cross-country running (16.2 km). They were from An Giang, Son La, Thanh Hoa, Hanoi, Army, Binh Duong, Hoa Binh and Lao Cai delegations. After more than 1 hour of competition with the great determination, the results were as follows: In the individual Olympic cross-country event, the athlete Ca Thi Thom (the Army team) won the gold medal; the Athlete Dinh Thi Nhu Quynh (Binh Duong team) won the silver medal; the Athlete Quang Thi Soan (the Army delegation) won the bronze medal. In the content of female teammate Olympic cross-country running, the Army team won the gold medal; Binh Duong delegation won the silver one; An Giang delegation won the bronze medal. 


Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is presenting the first teammate prize to Hoa Binh delegation. 

In the content of individual and male teamate Olympic cross-country running (21.6 km distance), there were 25 athletes from 7 delegations: Hoa Binh, An Giang, Dong Thap, Hanoi, Lao Cai, Army, Thanh Hoa. Immediately after the start, the athletes rushed to follow each other every second of every minute. From the second race, the athlete Dinh Van Linh (Hoa Binh delegation) took the lead. Before reaching the finish line, 10 athletes were eliminated because they could not keep up with the leading athlete's lap and the bicycles were damaged. The results of the individual content: The athlete Dinh Van Linh (Hoa Binh delegation) won the gold medal; the athlete Nguyen Viet Lam (Thanh Hoa delegation) won the silver medal; the athlete Pham Le Xuan Loc (the Army team) won the bronze medal.
