(HBO) - The competition program of the IX National Sports Congress in 2022 has been completed. Participating in the competition in 7 out the 43 sports contents within the framework of the congress (biking, karate, pencak silat, athletics, taekwondo, stick pushing, tug of war), the athletes of our province won the total of 10 medals, including 4 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals.
The atheletes of the terran cycling performed excellently performed, making a significant contribution to the overall achievement of the provincial sports delegation at the IX National Sports Congress.
The specific achievements are as follows: they have won 3 gold medals for the terance cycling in the following subjects: the individual Olympic terance cycling (Dinh Van Linh); the male team Olympic terance cycling (Dinh Van Linh, Bui Van Nhat, Bui Van Hieu, Ha Cong Ky); the male relay terrance cycling (Dinh Van Linh, Bui Van Nhat, Bui Van Hieu) and 1 silver medal in men's timed terrance cycling (Dinh Van Linh).
For tug of war, they won 1 gold medal in the combined men's and women's 550 kg; 3 silver medals in the following events: 520kg and 560kg weight category for women's teams and 560 kg weight category for men's teams.
For stick pushing, they won 2 bronze medals in the women's 69kg weight category (Bui Thi Xiu) and the men's 63kg weight category (Bui Van Minh).
With the result of 10 medals achieved, Hoa Binh province's sports delegation ranked 42 out of the 65 provinces, cities and branches nationwide and ranked 5 out of the 19 provinces in mountainous areas.
With the results achieved, our province's sports delegation has exceeded the planned target.

In 2 days, October 15th-16th, the Women's Union of Cao Phong District organized the 2024 Women's Soft Volleyball Tournament to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024) and the 14th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day.
