(HBO) - From March 5 to 15, at the National Sports Training Center in Ho Chi Minh City, the Championship for the National Pencak Silat Clubs took place. This is a sports tournament in the national tournament system in 2023.


The athlete Bui Quang Bao (Hoa Binh) has won a silver medal at the Championship for National Pencak Silat Clubs ibn 2023.

The tournament has attracted nearly 500 athletes from 30 clubs from all over the country. They competed at the ages of 15-17 and 18-45 with more than 50 events.

The coach, Nguyen Dai Son, and 6 athletes from Hoa Binh participated in the tourrnament. With the great efforts, our provincial sports delegation won a silver medal. Specifically, the athlete, Bui Quang Bao, won a silver medal in the men's fighting event with the weight class of 69 kg for the age 15-17.

The tournament was organized to promote the pảctice of Pencak Silat in clubs all over the country. At the same time, it helps detecting, selecting and fostering the promising athletes, adding the forces for the national team to participate in regional and international tournaments in the near future.
