(HBO) - On November 26th, at Yen Thuy District Stadium, Yen Thuy People’s Committee organized the 7th Sports and Physical Training Competition of Yen Thuy District in 2017. It welcomed the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, the chief organizer of the provincial Sports and Physical Training Competition, together with some leaders of the departments and boards of the province, other districts and city.

The 7th Sports and Physical Training Competition of Yen Thuy District in 2017 attracted more than 1,000 athletes from communes and towns with 8 competition subjects of volleyball, football, tug of war, stick pushing, crossbow shooting, badminton and athletics. 100% of all the communes and towns had organized Sports and Physical Training Competitions, which attracted over 1,000 athletes participating in all the subjects. Up to now, the number of medals Yen Thuy District delegation has achieved in the 6th Sports and Physical Training Competition of Hoa Binh in 2018 is 10 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 5 bronze medals.

At the opening ceremony, after the processes of flags, Uncle Ho portrait and the marching demonstration of the forces, officials, agencies, organizations, communes and towns, there was a co-performance of 360 pupils of Yen Lac secondary school and Hang Tram town secondary school with the topic "Yen Thuy renovation, integration and development” staged and rehearsed meticulously which gave the ceremony a lively, beautiful and impressive performance.

Right after the opening ceremony, there was a volleyball friendly match between Doan Ket Volleyball Team and Hang Tram Volleyball Coalition.
