(HBO) On December 1st, at the provincial stadium, the People’s Committee of Hoa Binh City organized the 6th Sports and Physical Training Competitions in 2017. It was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, The Chief Organizer of the provincial Sport and Physical Training Competitions.

The 6th Sports and Physical Training Competitions of Hoa Binh City in 2017 attracted more than 1000 athletes participating from communes and wards with 10 subjects, such as; volleyball, football, tug of war, stick pushing, crossbow shooting, badminton, table tennis, distance swimming, cross-river swimming and marathon, 7 of which had been organized earlier and the rest 3 subjects of crossbow shooting, tug of war and stick pushing were held in the opening ceremony of the Competitions. In this Competition Festival, 100% communes and wards had organized the basic- level sports and physical training competitions, attracted more than 1000 athletes participating in all subjects. Therefore, the excellent athletes can be selected to take part in the 6th Sports and Physical Training Competitions of Hoa Binh Province in 2018. Up to now, according to 8 subjects organized for the 6th Sports and Physical Training Competitions of Hoa Binh Province in 2018, Hoa Binh city delegation participated and achieved 10 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.

In the opening ceremony, after the processes of flags, Uncle Ho Portrait by dragon dancers and the march to praise forces of army representatives, offices, agencies, unions, communes and towns, there was a co-performance of 200 Gong artists from Su Ngoi and Dan Chu communes together with 450 pupils of Ly Tu Trong Secondary School with the topic "Be healthy to build a beautiful and civilized Hoa Binh City” which had been staged, rehearsed carefully and performed beautifully and impressively.

Right after the opening ceremony, on December 1st and 2nd, at the provincial Stadium, the competitions of crossbow shooting, stick pushing and tug of war began competing.
